Jonathan Mazambi IlunduClean Cooking Expert – PIFORES (DRC)

Jonathan Mazambi Ilundu is leading implementation of the World Bank–funded PIFORES Clean Cooking RBF Facility, a $16M results-based financing program supporting the deployment of clean cooking technologies for 500,000 households across the Democratic Republic of Congo. The initiative is part of the national Forest and Savannah Restoration Program (PIFORES) and is managed by GreenMax in partnership with ANSER.

Jonathan is a clean energy specialist with extensive experience in clean cooking, renewable energy, e-mobility, and MRV systems. He has worked with ECOA Climate Capital, BURN Manufacturing, and other partners across East and Central Africa on data-driven market assessments, gender-informed sustainability strategies, and carbon-linked performance testing.

He holds a bachelor’s in international business from Africa Nazarene University and is currently completing a Master’s in Monitoring and Evaluation. He is certified in solar financial modeling, REDD+ fundamentals, and gender and climate action. Jonathan speaks fluent English, French, Swahili, and Lingala.
