Clarisse Kangnivi is a specialist in results-based financing (RBF), women’s economic empowerment, and inclusive development, with more than 10 years of experience designing, managing, and advising performance-based programs across Francophone Africa. As a Senior Associate with GreenMax, she provides cross-cutting RBF expertise to support the design, implementation, and strengthening of performance-linked financing mechanisms across the firm’s fund management programs and initiatives, including in the mini-grid, productive use of energy and clean cooking sectors.

Prior to joining GreenMax, Clarisse led gender-responsive and results-focused programming for numerous large-scale donor initiatives funded by GIZ and the European Union. She previously served as an RBF Technical Advisor at GIZ, where she focused on expanding inclusive access to energy, agricultural services, and economic opportunities for women and vulnerable groups.

Clarisse holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering (Energy Option) and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Maintenance  from the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin. She is fluent in French and has an intermediate  professional level of English.
