Cemal Parlak has nearly three decades of experience in the clean energy industry, having worked for Cargill, Inc. in the USA and Turkey for 15 years, and as a renewable energy consultant in Turkey for more than a decade. Cemal also has experience preparing bankable feasibility reports and business plans for sustainable energy investments and conducting due diligence studies for industrial energy projects.
Cemal leadings GreenMax’s consulting practice in Turkey and the MENA region. He has led several consulting assignments for GreenMax in Turkey’s clean energy sector, including a review of the GEF Geofund Program for IFC and an assessment of the country’s geothermal market for USTDA.
Cemal holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, and an M.B.A. from Binghamton University in New York, USA. He is fluent in Turkish and English.
