Koye Alaba has worked in Nigeria’s clean energy sector for nearly a decade, specializing in renewable energy project finance and development, transaction advisory, financial modeling, market sizing, and financial due diligence. Koye is the Director of Off-Grid Transaction Advisory at GreenMax. He is also supporting the Fund Management Group with the launch of the Green-for-Access First Loss Facility (G4A), a new risk mitigation platform that partners with local financial institutions in Africa to facilitate local currency lending for energy access.

Koye is a licensed Project Management Professional and holds a Certificate in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Koye has a M.Sc. in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Rochester in New York and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is fluent in English and Yoruba.
