Vedran Uran is a sustainable energy engineer and project development expert with more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector. For over a decade, Vedran has served as GreenMax’s regional manager for the Western Balkans, where he is currently leading an engagement with EBRD to develop a pipeline of municipal energy efficiency projects in six countries across the region.
He has spent the better part of his career working on the development of implementable financing mechanisms for renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in the Western Balkans and in other emerging markets across Eastern Europe. To date, he has issued over 40 scientific and professional articles in the fields of energy, energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy policy and energy economics.
Vedran holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Rijeka and a Ph.D. in Technical Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is fluent in Croatian, English and Italian.
