GreenMax Capital Group is delighted to announce that our client, VITALITE Zambia, has achieved an important financing milestone, as the EU-funded Electrification Financing Initiative (EDFI ElectriFI) has committed to investing USD 1.5M in the company.

VITALITE is a Solar Home System (SHS) distribution company created to increase rural electrification for low-income, energy-poor households in Zambia. The company, which began operating in 2014, is the pioneer of a fully integrated pay-as-you-go (PayGo) service in the country. VITALITE currently has 39 hubs located across Zambia’s 10 provinces.  With the EDFI ElectriFi investment, VITALITE plans to expand its operations and distribute 100,000 SHS over the next four years, providing access to clean energy to more than half a million people in the country.
