In 2020, GreenMax was retained by KfW to support the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) with development of its renewable energy portfolio and engagement with partner financial institutions for utilization of a subordinated credit line offered by KfW. The assignment included a market assessment of the sustainable energy financing opportunity in Nigeria, comprehensive review of DBN’s capabilities, and identification, recommendation and vetting of suitable FI partners from more than a dozen candidates that our team engaged with.
