GET.invest provides a range of services that aim to mobilize the private sector and build a pipeline for financing and investment to support clean energy project development. The Financial Readiness Support (FRS) activity offers a suite of “deep dive” Technical Assistance for early-stage distributed renewable energy companies in Africa to help get them to the point where they may be considered strong candidates for external financing.  In 2021, GreenMax was selected to provide support to client companies deemed eligible to participate in the FRS activity in the following areas: (i) financial management (accounting, cash flow management, etc.); (ii) identification of potential financiers; (iii) operational management and strategic planning; and (iv) Key Performance Indicators and business analytics.  

In the initial phase of FRS, GreenMax is supporting the capital restructuring of four African off-grid enterprises: (i) ICE Commercial Power, a Nigerian developer of solar solutions for commercial properties; (ii) Green Impact Technologies, a distributor of SHS and solar water pumps in Malawi; (3) Uranus Solar, a provider of SHS in Mozambique; and (4) REIC, a mini-grid developer in Cameroon.
