Festus William Amoyaw has 18 years of experience in business development, consulting, impact investing and private equity, with a deep understanding of international trade and investment issues in emerging markets and a demonstrated ability to structure financial transactions.

He has been working with small and medium-sized enterprises in Africa in the agriculture, renewable energy, manufacturing, and tourism/hospitality sectors and also has experience in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing and social risk management in project financing.

As a consultant, he has undertaken assignments for the ECOWAS Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), USAID and FMO, among others. Previously, he has worked in various portfolio and investment management positions for Women’s World Banking Asset Management, Acumen Fund, Investisseurs et Partenaires, Grofin Ghana Limited and Republic Bank Ghana Limited.

Mr. Amoyaw holds an Executive M.B.A. from University of Ghana Business School in Accra, and B.Sc. in Agriculture Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.
