Kodjo Afidegnon is an energy finance professional with 20 years of experience in business development, project management and energy infrastructure project financing, development and operation in Sub-Saharan Africa. He specializes in Public Private Partnerships (PPP), business management and transaction advisory for private investors, investment funds and DFIs, with experience in project finance, management of large-scale power projects, renewable energy development, financial modeling and structuring, investment risk management and infrastructure project contract negotiation.

Kodjo is Co-Founder and CEO of Newgen Advisory International, a consulting firm providing financial engineering services to clients across Africa, Europe and North America. Previously, he held senior positions as Regional Director at InfraCo Africa, Project Manager at Contour Global, Managing Director of African Generation Consulting, Project Manager at Berkeley Energy and Production Engineer at Shell. Kodjo holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University in Minnesota and a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He is fluent in French and English.
