Patience Barandenge has over 15 years of experience advancing inclusive finance, gender mainstreaming, and institutional capacity building across the DRC and West Africa. At GreenMax, she supports the implementation of the $65M World Bank-funded Mwinda Fund, with a focus on strengthening local market readiness and ensuring equitable access to results-based financing (RBF) for energy providers.
Previously, Patience led RAWBANK’s award-winning “Lady’s First” program in partnership with the IFC, managing gender-focused credit portfolios and entrepreneurship initiatives. She has consulted for leading institutions including OIF, AfDB, and AGF/AFAWA, and is currently affiliated with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, where she advises banks, MFIs, and SMEs on operational strategy and gender integration.
Patience holds a Licence in Organizational Communication and a Certificate in Journalism from IFASIC (Kinshasa), and has pursued professional training in leadership, financial analysis, and gender-inclusive finance. She is fluent in French and English.
